Facebook’s ad campaigns are a fantastic way to market your company or product, since
they’re highly customizable, easy to setup, and have the potential to reach a huge customer base. With 1.19 billion monthly active users, setting up a successful Facebook ad campaign can bring your company more into the public eye.

Here are 5 tips to make you Facebook campaign successful:

1. Use Facebook Audience Insights BEFORE You Start
Facebook Audience Insights allows you to learn everything you need to know about your customer base before even coming to a decision or your ad’s direction. Start by choosing a specific audience, which helps to narrow down your area of influence. From there you can view any information needed about your selected customer base. Audience Insights include information such as demographics, page likes, location and language, and purchasing activity.

2. Use Compelling Imagery
Facebook, like all social media, is fast paced and offers a plethora of information. People are quickly scrolling through their newsfeeds and without compelling imagery they won’t stop on your ad. Select a picture related to your message or product. The image doesn’t have to be the exact product or landing page of your website though. Pictures with people and bold colors generally perform best.

3. Understand the Platform
Facebook ads are best for form submissions. Based on the way Facebook is used, quick scrolling, brief click-throughs to websites, etc, Facebook is not a platform where you will see large sales increases from advertising. Consider using a Facebook ad to help you build your email list, get RSVPs for your event or to gain exposure.

4. Connect to a Landing Page
It’s crucial when someone clicks on your ad via Facebook, they’re taken to a page relevant to the content you promised in your ad. Relevant landing pages have higher conversion rates than a home page. Drive clicks to the information you promised in your ad to see the best results.

5. Compete With Yourself
One of the best ways for you to be able to test your target audience is to set up multiple ads to compete against each other. If you create multiple ads in the same ad set, Facebook will automatically track and push the ad it sees performing best. Running campaigns with three or more ads can help you make content decisions in the future to make your ads more effective and to save you time. When you’re reviewing the data, look closely at the cost per result, the lower the cost, the more effective your ad was overall.

Now you’re ready to get out and conquer Facebook advertising. If you’re still feeling lost, we would love to run a Facebook ad campaign for you, schedule a consultation today to learn more.
